With her music played all over the world, the Lisa Phenix Band is a Sacramento institution and one of Sacramento’s finest singer-songwriters. Some of the best area players are in this group, including Mike Roe of  legendary band, The 77s. Musically influenced by folk, blues, and jazz, Lisa’s honey-rich voice and subtle guitar work intertwines with Mike Roe, the autumnal and joyful frontman for the critically acclaimed 77s, and all-things-to-all men guitarist/vocalist for the rootsy, collaborative Lost Dogs. Regardless of the hat he is wearing, Michael Roe has, over the course of his 24 years as a national recording artist, delivered well-crafted songs and lyrics to his audience.
