Bockbierfest

One day only! Bockbierfest is back with German Food, Bockbier from Germany, Biergarten, Wine, Champagne, and Kaffeehaus.

German dance music will be provided in the Main Hall by The Gruber Family Band. Our Banquet Hall upstairs will feature great local band AKA-LIVE from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The Turn Verein’s delicious Kaffeehaus will serve specialty desserts, the Alpenmeisters will provide musical entertainment in the outdoor Biergarten .

The Sacramento Turn Verein, founded in 1854, moved to its present location in 1925. Now recognized as the center of German culture in Sacramento, the Turn Verein, the oldest still-active institution in Sacramento, supports seven special-interest sections and hosts several monthly and annual events to foster German culture.
