Chamber Music Society of Sacramento Performance

Enjoy an afternoon of classical chamber music! The featured soloist will be Philip Myers, internationally recognized as one of the best horn players in the world, recently retired from the New York Philharmonic. Mr. Myers will perform the Mozart, Quintet for Horn and Strings and the Carl Nielsen, Woodwind Quintet with Mathew Krejci on flute Belinda Rosen on oboe Patricia Shands on clarinet, and Michelle Keem on bassoon. The Beethoven String Quartet, op. 59, No. 1 will be performed as well. This op. 59 is recognized as Beethoven at the top of his game. William Barbini and Kineko Okumura on violins, Joseph Peterson on viola, and Mark Walker on cello will be the Quartet musicians.
