Children's Photography Month Exhibit

For the Love of Art Gallery is hosting a unique opportunity for kids 18 years old and under to display their photos during the month of April.

“This event gives children an opportunity to display their art work – to be creative and explore photography while learning about the exhibit process.  Creativity is so important in everything we do and is especially important for children.   It helps develop both sides of the brain and creates different ways to learn and to express themselves,” stated Lori Humphrey, owner of For The Love of Art in Auburn

Opening receptions will be held on April 5th from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at three galleries in Auburn:  For the Love of Art, 882 Lincoln Way; For the Love of Photography, 852 Lincoln Way; and General Gomez Art and Event Center, 808 Lincoln Way.  Refreshments will be served.   All proceeds will be returned to the artists.

This opportunity is available to kids within the 5-county area participating in Photography Month including Sacramento, Placer, Nevada, Yolo and Eldorado Counties.   Photography Month was initiated by Viewpoint Photographic Art Center to focus attention on the importance of photography in our lives and how to improve one’s photography.
