Classical Concerts: MoD Artists

Travel through the awe-inspiring landscapes of the American southwest with a performance inspired by works on view in Pueblo Pottery and Beyond: A New Gallery of Masterworks and Another World: The Transcendental Painting Group. Maquette Kuper sweeps listeners away with Katherine Hoover’s Kokopeli, a piece that imitates the flute renderings of the legendary Hopi hero. Deborah Pittman enchants with improvisations on three different Native American flutes.
