The Death Café is a dedicated space and time for folks to gather without a program, agenda, or speaker and simply have a conversation about death and dying. The only assumption is that everyone will someday die; that alone is enough to prompt meaningful conversation.

The Death Café is a dedicated space and time for folks to gather without a program, agenda, or speaker and simply have a conversation about death and dying. The only assumption is that everyone will someday die; that alone is enough to prompt meaningful conversation.
This salon-style Death Cafe will invite dialogue between guests in small, informal, self-facilitating groups, cultivating conversation around whatever questions, topics, and interests you have concerning death and dying. Seating for 50 guests will be provided; however, if you would prefer to bring a blanket to spread on the ground, please feel free to do so.
All are welcome and encouraged to bring friends and contribute to the potluck. Coffee, tea, and cake will be served. Space and hospitality will be provided by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Davis and the Davis Cemetery.
