Family Fun: Stories and Service

Join us at the American River Parkway Foundation’s very own Native Plant Garden for Service and Stories as part of the Sacramento National Park City Festival! This Family Friendly event is perfect for families with small children. Once they collect everyone’s waivers they will start of the event by reading a storybook in the garden about the importance of nature. They’ll then put that new knowledge to action by doing some kid-friendly gardening and weed pulling. Feel free to come early or stay late to enjoy William B Pond.

Volunteers 17 and under must bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 18 and over must bring a completed and signed 2023 Waiver.
