First Step Communities - River District Health Fair

First Step Communities and the River District PBID have joined forces to create a day of care, connection, and community in the River District, designed to provide essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This event includes a complimentary lunch and offers a range of vital services from local organizations. Attendees can access STI/HIV testing, primary medical care, OB/GYN clinic services, Narcan distribution, mental health support, sexual harm assistance, shelter navigation aid, showers, free produce, and more.

A diverse array of organizations will be participating, including Assistance League, Life Practice Counseling Group, Department of Community Response, El Hogar, Sacramento Covered, C.A.S.H., Women’s Empowerment, Department of Human Assistance, One Community Health, Turning Point, WEAVE, Loaves & Fishes, Sacramento Food Bank, LGBT Center, Elica CAN Navigators, Touchstone Showers, Hope Cooperative Respite, Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Services, The Willow Clinic, and the Sacramento Mental Health Access Team.
