May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!

Did you know that Filipinos make up nearly 20% of registered nurses in California? According to UC Davis’ Bulosan Center for Filipinx Studies- among Asian Pacific Island groups, Filipinos (24%) comprise the majority of those working and struggling with poverty. Studies have shown that our communities of color are especially impacted by Covid-19.

All proceeds from this live painting event will go to the Philippine National Day Association’s Sacramento Region Filipinx COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Grant.
