Gold Country Book Tour

Ten Sacramento-area bookstores are participating in the second annual Gold Country Book Tour as part of National Independent Bookstore Day. Book lovers can visit some or all participating stores to browse, buy books and exclusive merchandise, and collect prizes. It’s a great way for locals in the Sacramento, Davis, Elk Grove, and Folsom regions to explore Gold Country neighborhoods and support indie bookstores.

At their first location, shoppers can download the Gold Country Book Tour App or pick up a paper passport to track their progress. For every $10 purchase they make at each store, shoppers collect unique items like bookmarks, stickers, and pins. Those who visit four stores are automatically entered into a raffle for the grand prize: a gift tote with gift certificates, books, and swag.
