Gun Buy Back

The purpose of this program is to provide a safe and efficient process for local residents to turn in unwanted firearms and assist in creating a safer community in Sacramento. They are working to ensure that those desiring to surrender firearms understand that this is a completely anonymous process, where no questions will be asked of the person surrendering the firearm(s). All firearms will be collected by Sacramento Police Department personnel with the assistance of community volunteers and residents will be given a $50 gift card for each gun surrendered.
