Hydroplane based out of Oakland, is the stage name of producer/musician Renzo Gorrio. His first two full lengths released were of the IDM styling; however, his more recent work has more of a melodic, indie pop vibe, akin to what a Gorgio Morroder and Mathew Dear collaboration might sound like if they both got together to record in Argentina. San Francisco based Hydroplane experiments with playful sound design, unpredictable rhythms and intertwining synth melodies to create a pleasing and emotive yet complex and sometimes psychedelic sound.

Notfromhere is the alias for Light.wav resident and artist, Alex Trujillo. The concept in sound is a Sci-Fi experience…. where space travel and parallel universes collide. Ranging from experimental ambient to glitch to techno.

Light.wav is an digital media art exhibit fusing art and technology through light, space and sound. We’ll transform an empty space into what can be described as a “modern-day dreamscape” where attendees will find themselves immersed in a sensory experience.
