Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a 5K fundraising walk to fund breast cancer research and programs by the American Cancer Society. Join them for their 27th year of fighting breast cancer in Sacramento by signing up online. You will be walking through beautiful Sacramento State this year for the first time and expect it will be a beautiful morning on campus, with plenty of parking for everyone!

Please advise we will not allow, scooters, skateboards, or roller skates for the safety of our participants. Yes of course we allow and wheelchairs, medical motorized scooters, strollers and wagons to push/pull your little ones. Although this is a family friendly event we hope you will consider leaving your four legged friends at home as large crowds can often cause them stress. If you decide that your pup will do great please be sure you make sure to come prepared with bags to clean up after your pup regardless of where you are on campus which includes all parking areas as well. They also must be on a leash and non aggressive.

This event is a large gathering of individuals, if you have a compromised immune system and are not comfortable joining us in person you can still sign up and walk from home. Masks are optional and encouraged for those who prefer
