Continuing our efforts to support the Nisenan Tribe from the Nevada City Rancheria, in March of 2022, we will present our powerful and informative concert project that tells the stories of the Nisenans. This project includes new music, traditional tribal songs, and short video documentaries that offer the listener an opportunity to gain a better understanding of their history, culture, and the relationship they have to their homeland. This presentation will be followed by an interactive conversation with tribal spokesperson Shelly Covert and Vox Musica. This concert project is a remarkable and historical musical & cultural collaboration between the Nisenan's from the Nevada City Rancheria and Vox Musica. It should not be missed!
