Norcal Noisefest 25

The Northern California Experimental Music Festival presents NorCal Noisefest 2021: Noisefest 25, a three-day, live and online celebration of noise.

The Norcal Noisefest, founded in 1995, is the longest-running experimental music festival in the United States, on a local and national level. Performers are mostly from northern California, across the United States and around the world. This year’s Noisefest will be a hybrid festival, with two days (Saturday and Sunday) of live performances broadcast worldwide via YouTube and a third day of all online videos. The in-person event at Café Colonial/The Colony requires proof of vaccination for admission, and masks are required while indoors. The online video-cast is free of charge.

This year’s Noisefest features dozens performers from across the globe, including new Sacramento performers like BATH SALTS and NINA SPHERES, alongside major label acts like NOT BREATHING and living legends of experimental music like G.X. Jupitter-Larsen. Long-time Festival goers will recognize many of our regular northern California performers including INSTAGON, UBERKUNST, CHOPSTICK, BIG CITY ORCHESTRA and LIVER CANCER. The hybrid online format means strong representation of international performers, including ego death from Greece, KOMPRIPIOTR from Italy, and HIDENORI NOGUCHI from Japan.
