Open Garden at the Horticulture Center

Open Garden days are informal events with Master Gardeners available in all areas of the garden. It’s a great opportunity to peruse the garden at your own pace and ask lots of questions.

On-going Demonstrations:
-The Many Benefits of Mulch at the Water Efficient Landscape Garden.
-Pruning Blackberries, Boysenberries, and Blueberries at the Berry Project Area.
-Preparing the Cool Season Vegetable Garden at the Vegetable Project Area.
-Turning, Sifting, and Building the Pile for Good, Healthy Compost at the Compost Project Area.
