ORLUarts Artist Talk

Meet artist ORLUarts, discuss her journey as an artist, and talk about her mural for Community Murals Sacramento.

Liv is a Bay Area-based artist and muralist working under the name ORLUarts. Liv began her mural career in 2017 after going to college in Philadelphia, and has since painted over thirty public artworks. After moving home to the Bay Area in late 2020, she began her mural company, ORLUarts, in 2021.

​Liv was hired as one of ten lead artists for Community Murals Sacramento’s pilot round of murals. After a meticulous design process that involved the community’s input, Liv painted her mural, “Rhythm of the Boulevard,” in fall 2021, with the help of two incredible assistant muralists, Renee DeGarmo and Ellie Gainey.
