Recovery Happens

California leads the nation in kicking off Recovery Month each year with our Annual Recovery Happens event on the west steps of the State Capitol in Sacramento. As one of the longest-running, annual events in the recovery space, we take pride in creating an amazing, day-long program for people in recovery from throughout the state and the nation. This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever with multiple organizations representing the California Coalition of Addiction Recovery Advocates (CCARA) coming together to converge at the Capitol to show the public and policymakers that recovery does happen, and treatment works!
