In 1994, 796 participants turned out for the inaugural Run to Feed the Hungry on Thanksgiving morning. Last year, they were joined by 26,765 runners and walkers, making Run to Feed the Hungry the largest Thanksgiving Day fun run in the country! Run to Feed the Hungry is owned, operated, and the largest annual fundraiser for Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services.
