Sac State Summer Blood Drive

Sacramento State will be hosting a blood drive open to students, faculty/ staff, and the general public at no cost. The event will take place between the University Union and the Hornet Bookstore. The event will be co-sponsored by Sac State’s Associated Students, Inc., The Hornet Bookstore, University Enterprises, Inc., The University Union, The WELL, CAMP, and Vitalant (formerly known as BloodSource).

Every participant will receive a free $10 Fandango movie voucher or a $10 Chipotle voucher.

Blood donation saves the lives of accident victims, surgery patients, cancer patients and many others in need. Donating blood is safe, easy and takes about an hour. Sac State’s faculty and staff members are eligible for a “Fast Track” pass, which expedites the check-in process.

Note: Blood donors must weigh 110 pounds or more, be in overall good health, and Ages 17+ (Age 16 with a signed Vitalant parental consent form).
