Sacramento Greek Festival

For nearly 60 years, the Sacramento Greek Festival has shared the vibrant culture, rich food, and traditions of Greece with the local community. The authentic cuisine is homemade by volunteers with recipes from all corners of the Greek Mediterranean. The village-style atmosphere of the festival perfectly represents the historical and epic Greek passion for life, food, drink, and dance. Come and join in this family-friendly festival experience – OPA!

This year’s Greek Fest will offer both indoor and outdoor dining experiences on the spacious church grounds with tents for shade and plenty of seating. Guests will enjoy our most popular food booths including Gyros, Meze (appetizers), Zaharoplastion (pastry shop), Loukoumades (“Greek mini doughnut”), Agora (market place), and Taverna (bar).

This year, they are proud to announce that the Greek Dancers will return for performances throughout the weekend and will offer free dance lessons for guests. Festival attendees can tap their feet to traditional live music from Mythos Band and DJ Chris Perris spinning the latest hits from the Greek Islands.

Note: The church is across the street from McKinley Park. Entrance is on F Street.
