Sacramento Jewish Film Festival: Virtual

The 24th Sacramento Jewish Film Festival, a program of the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region, is back. They are back in theaters for several films and to accommodate those of you who prefer to watch films in the comfort of your home, films will again be streaming virtually. This year’s festival includes 27 feature films and 10 short films.

The festival will feature closed-captioning or subtitles on all 17 films with English-language content to ensure that the deaf and hard-of-hearing audience can better experience the festival. Films in languages other than English are already subtitled. In addition, they will have ASL interpreters in the theaters to assist with the announcements and post-film discussions. The closed-captioning project is possible due to the generosity of our many sponsors.

The opening day film will be at the Tower Theatre and the closing day event will be at the Crocker Art Museum.

The festival promises to amuse, entertain, inspire, educate, and provide opportunities to share this experience together. There will be a wide variety of films: comedies, dramas, and documentaries. They will be presenting films from all over the world, including Israel, Canada, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, the Netherlands, and the USA.
