Speakup: The Art of Storytelling and Poetry

Mary McGrath and Todd Boyd host a joint performance of local storytellers and poets once a month at the Avid Reader Bookstore. They feature local tellers and poets who are also part of the audience. They choose material up to ten minutes in length in order to provide performance opportunity to a dozen storytellers and poets. Work is recorded onto audio clips for the benefit of the artists.
