At this time of Thanksgiving celebration, the Zoo’s thoughts turn gratefully to you, our community, with warm appreciation. One of the joys of Thanksgiving is wishing you a happy holiday season and a healthy and prosperous new year. As a special thank you everyone will receive child-priced admission the day after Thanksgiving at ThankZoo.

Sacramento Zoo residents will also have a smashing good time when they receive seasonal pumpkins to eat, play with, bounce, tear apart, and smash.

Pumpkins generously donated by zoo supporters, including a truckload of pumpkins from the Hick’s family.
