The Comeback Book Launch

This event includes a Q&A discussion with Lily Chu and Sierra Godfrey, one copy of Lily Chu’s book, The Comeback, and the opportunity to get your book signed and meet the author. You will also have the opportunity to meet author Sierra Godfrey, purchase her book, and have it signed.

Lily Chu’s other title, The Stand-In, will also be available for purchase.

Readers will receive their book at the event. Readers are not expected to have read the book and careful consideration is given to avoid spoilers during the discussion.

The Comeback follows Lily Chu’s bestselling romantic fiction debut, The Stand-In, which was selected for the May 2022 Target Book Club, and which continues to receive accolades as one of the best rom-coms of 2022.

The novel also dives back into the pressure and emotional turbulence of the celebrity life, following thematically from the premise of The Stand-In. The Comeback strips some of the glossy luster from the life of a K-pop idol, exposing not only the highly regulated lifestyle, but also the toll that immense fandom can take on one’s emotional health, and personal relationships.
