View from the Crabtree Wilderness Ranger Station, where the John Muir Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and High Sierra Trail run together for a bit.
This one hour presentation of photographs, maps, charts, and videos touches on the history, scenery, challenges, and rewards of backpacking the High Sierra Trail. The presentation covers the 70 miles of the High Sierra Trail from Sequoia National Park east through the Sierra Mountains to the Whitney Portal over six days of beautiful scenery and few other people.
