Join us for our 40th Anniversary celebration!

The musical journey we will embark on spans several continents and a thousand years including soaring Renaissance motets, Medieval and African chants, American spirituals, haunting pleas for world peace, and odes to everything from life to music itself.

“This concert takes its name from a line in the final song on the April program, a rousing new setting by one of our favorite arrangers, Larry Shackley,” our director, Ralph Hughes, explains. He commissioned If Music Be the Food of Love especially for the 40th anniversary. For the members of this choir the concerts are a personal, emotion-filled tour of our own history. Each song evokes so many memories. We are so grateful that you have chosen to join us to celebrate this milestone in our existence.
