Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Info regarding how this event is being affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.:

Mindful of the health and safety of our community, race organizers will implement several changes to the event in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, including fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle and body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea should stay home. Due to the risk of attending large, crowded events, we strongly recommend that participants be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test in advance within 72 hours of attending this event. Participants may sign-up as virtual racers, running from home or in their neighborhoods. For your safety, masks or face coverings must be worn in the start area, where social distancing may not be possible at all times and we ask that participants maintain social distancing, wherever lines are forming. Masks will be available to all participants and hand sanitizer will be available near restrooms throughout the expo area. Food and water being distributed will be individually packed. Virtual racing packets will be mailed to early registrants. Race organizers will release more detailed health and safety measures in the weeks leading up to the event. In the event public health orders or guidance discourages in-person events on the event date, LSNC may convert the race to a strictly virtual format. We appreciate your support and cooperation!
