Vitalant Blood Drive at Cal Expo

Please join us to donate blood on Friday, August 7 as California State Fair and iHeartMedia Sacramento team up to save lives! Blood drive will be located at Cal Expo – through the Main Gate in Building A.

Your blood donation delivers double the good when you help to save lives and learn your COVID-19 antibody status. Antibody tests are used to tell if someone had a past infection with SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

Vitalant requires all donors to wear face coverings. Given limited supplies, Vitalant is unable to provide masks to every donor at this time. However, in order to donate blood, donors will be required to bring their own cloth-based face covering.
