Join experts and fellow citizens in seeking consensus on science-based policy at Water and Fire: Impacts of Climate Change. Utilizing a highly interactive debate-and-caucus format, three internationally recognized scientists will debate 40 invited representatives from science, industry, advocacy, policy, and academia, followed by small-group caucuses involving all participants.
Convened by the Institute on Science for Global Policy in partnership with Sacramento State, the conference does not lobby for any position. Special speakers include Dr. Frank Kanawha Lake of the U.S. Forest Service and Chief Ken Pimlott, Director of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. A light breakfast and lunch are included with registration.
