Workshop for Artists: Life Stories as Content

The teaching artist, Ruth Chase, demonstrates how to engage individuals with the content in their work during this two-hour workshop. Her West of Lincoln Project will be reviewed at the workshop, it covers the following: Biographical portraiture — the process to create work based on an individual’s life story, interview process, using art in service to others, integrating symbology and storytelling, and responsibilities of sensitive subject matter.
