My brother is the veteran, not me, but I'd like to network with Veterans For Peace on all the issue we have in common. I recently attended the online annual Veterans For Peace conference- it was inspiring.

I am working for a member of Sacramento Meeting at the moment who is preparing his diseased mother's home for sale. When we complete that work, I will check in with you as a possible volunteer. I support the only path to war should reside with Congress and approval of the President. I will be requesting a transfer of my membership from La Jolla Monthly Meeting to Sacramento Monthly Meeting (that takes time -- you may have hear that Friends move slow.) However, I may be able to stimulate a consideration of a minute from Sacramento Meeting to repeal the so called "war powers" act. Count on me to bring the matter to the local VFP. We need broad based support. I am an Air Force Veteran (1965-1969) and we have a few Air Force Bases in close proximity. Please stay in touch.
