Wo’se Community Church derives its name from the ancient city of Waset (or Wo’se). After invasions by foreigners, Wo’se was renamed to Thebes and then later to Luxor, which is how it is often referred today. Wo’se Community Church is a place where Africa-centered ideas are discussed and taught in order to return lives to the path of divinity, dignity, and service—a path traveled by every independent African community throughout history.
