Juliet Elise Rodriguez (b. 2001) multidisciplinary contemporary artist living and working in Sacramento, CA. Since 2014, her work has been featured in regional art spaces for solo and group exhibitions. Juliet Elise studied psychology at Cal Poly Humboldt State University (2019-2021) and relocated to Sacramento to pursue a career in visual art. She has served a vital role in preserving community art practices as a gallerist. Elise has served as a gallery assistant for The Art Bunker, A Space in Between, and The Atrium. Her work has featured at The Pacific Art League, Wal Public Market, Sol Collective, and Sac Open Studios.

Elise’s earlier work practices hyper realistic portraiture and charcoal sketching as a self-taught method. Characterized by a dark approach to identity exploration, her work has evolved into a more colorful and fluid depiction of feminine ideas through mixed media. Most recently, solo exhibition ‘Behind Closed Doors’ blends these contrasting palettes and techniques for an unforgettable series voicing the impact of domestic violence for Sacramento women.
