A native of Sacramento, Sandi Padilla is a watercolor artist who is becoming known for her vibrant, signature style. Her abstract works have been described as imaginative, filled with rich interactions of color and texture. While some of Padilla’s pieces are light and whimsical others convey deeper messages of spiritual transformation. The artist draws upon her love of photography and is continually inspired by numerous colorful subjects that she translates onto the canvas. Padilla utilizes her photographer’s eye for achieving balance, depth, and form.
A relatively new artist, Placer Arts warmly received her as she made her debut in the fall of 2011 during their Art Walk. Padilla went on to show her work during the holidays at the Frank James Gallery in Roseville, CA. Currently her art is on display at Cafe Ambrosia on K Street & 11th, just one block from the Capitol. Her art is scheduled to be on exhibit in the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce building Spring of 2013.
