Conference includes:
-Welcome speech by California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross and John Krist, CEO of Farm Bureau of Ventura County
-A live cooking demonstration will be provided by Mulvaney’s B&L.
-Live virtual tours include a visit to Houweling’s Tomatoes and Limoneira Company’s lemon packinghouse
-Keynote speakers include Jamie Johansson, President of California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom and Michael Marks, Television Personality and Produce Expert. -Education workshops will be presented by Students for Eco-Education; Dr. Rose Hayden Smith, Emeritus, UCANR; Julie Cates, educator, Linwood Elementary School; Morgan Carey of Dairy Council of California, and Dr. Browning Neddeau of CSU, Chico
-A farmer panel will discuss challenges facing agriculture.
