-3pm: Leah Savage, Sacramento author and co-director of the Living Well Community Foundation, will share how poetry liberates, heals and informs our identities.
-4pm: Sue Daly, Sacramento poet, will discuss how you can find your voice through poetry. She’ll cover finding inspiration, first drafts/revisions, submitting poems for publication, local writing froups/open mics and other tips to help your poetry sparkle!
-5pm: Shaun Parker and Malik Hill from the Free Game Podcast, will discuss experiences they’ve had, how Sacramento is a strong community of growing talent and artistry. They will also expand their discussion into how poets can brand and market themselves on social media, and offer a Q&A.
