What makes Meadowview…Meadowview? Only the people who live, work and play in the neighborhood truly know it. Here’s your chance to tell the story of Meadowview and share a part of its history.

Come to the Community History Festival and:
-Scan family and business photos to show us your Meadowview
-Record a story about the neighborhood in our Storybooth
-Document the places important to you on the Meadowview map
-Take a family portrait (and get a free digital copy)
-Share a meal with neighbors, journalists and historians

Bring photos (print or digital), home movies and videos that show life in Meadowview — then and now. Event organizers will make copies for Capital Public Radio’s “The View From Here: Meadowview” and for the Center for Sacramento History archive.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
