MOSAC Nights: Celebrating Earth

This month’s MOSAC Night will open with Nisenan spokesperson Shelly Covert’s tribute message to the past, present and future of salmon species with a blessing of the lands of the Nisenan, Plains Miwok, Southern Maidu and Patwin Wintun peoples.

Then join MOSAC for a salmon sustainability panel discussion and Q&A featuring Jason Fereira, US Fish and Wildlife salmon expert from the Nimbus Hatchery, and CalRecycle Director Rachel Machi Wagoner. The panel will also include a discussion about the human impact on water quality (microplastics, hazardous household waste).

They will be hosting tabling activities relevant to the panel discussion after the talk. More information on other details of the night coming soon!
