Sacramento Running Association (SRA)

The Sacramento Running Association (SRA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established in 1982 with the mission of bringing world class running events to the Sacramento area.

The Sacramento Running Association is best known for founding and organizing its premier event, the California International Marathon (CIM, established in 1983). This successful, internationally acclaimed marathon has filled the SRA’s original mission: to bring a world class running event to the Sacramento area.
