Genealogy: Finding Data in Newspapers

This presentation by genealogy specialist Jim Baker describes the most efficient methods for finding data in collections of online newspapers. Case studies emphasize the use of Family Search Wikis, Linkpendium, the Ancestry.com Redbook, and Google. Examples will illustrate the capabilities of major online collections, and offline microfilm collections will also be discussed. 

Note: This program will be held in the West Meeting Room on the 1st floor at Central Library.
