Summer Day Camp (Sprouts 3)

Soil Born Farms Summer Day Camps, which take place at the 55-acre American River Ranch along the American River Parkway, are a great way for young people to make the connection between their food, health, and the environment. Youth will learn about farming, nature, healthy cooking, and what it takes to bring food from the farm to the table.

Topics/experiences include:
-Hands-on experience growing and harvesting
-Cook and eat fresh foods
-Habitat restoration projects
-Nature explorations
-Nature crafts
-Community service projects
-Meet the farmers and animals
-Make new friends!

Note: This day camp is for children entering Grades 1-3. There are three different sessions: June 22-26, July 13-17, and July 27-August 1.
